On labels as Glycerin
A clear, slightly sweet liquid that draws water into the top layer of skin.
Glycerin is one of the most studied moisturising ingredients. It pulls water from the air and from deeper skin into the outer layer. Above about 10 % it can feel sticky, so most of our formulas use 3 to 5 %.
We use glycerin made from rapeseed oil.
